Globicephala macrorhynchus

Auf ausdrücklichen Wunsch von Nancy und Norman, gab es heute wieder Pilotwale zu beobachten. Zuerst sahen wir aber ausgiebig eine Schule von Tümmlern und später dann, immer weiter aufs offene Meer schwimmend, die Pilotwale. Bei beiden Arten können einzelne Tiere an Hand der Finne wiedererkannt werden (Fotoidentifikation) Infos zur Evolution der Wale folgen auf Wunsch von Herrn Neuner (bitte etwas Geduld haben)

Tursiops truncatus

Like some special guests Nancy and Norman wished so much we repeated the sightings of pilot whales from our last tour ;) But first we saw and followed for a long time a big pod of bottlenose dolphins. In both species individuals can be recognized by their fin (photo-identification) .

Primeiro vimos e acompanhamos hoje durante meia hora um grupo grande de roazes (especial para a São) e a seguir tivemos com baleias piloto (boca de panela), que foram sempre mais para fora em direcção do sul. Em ambas as espécies distigua-se indivíduos através da barbatana dorsal (photo-identificação).
